Food, wine, music, views. After a forced break, we open the terrace

A winery without people is not a winery, so as we can finally welcome visitors on the terrace from Monday, we will organize a small celebration this Saturday. When we were planning the last event before the declaration of a state of emergency, a group of chefs named Matyho chálka was to come to us with their goodies. It didn't work out, but we stayed in touch, so they will serve the goodies to the visitors this Saturday. The meal of the day will be a Moravian wrap with shredded duck and red cabbage, to which you can have our blend Chardonnay/Pinot Gris or Merlot or our secret Rudimentum.

"We know that the head of the group, Martin Motrinec, and his acquaintances like this special wine. Until now, we only had it on request, but from now, we include it in the regular menu," explains our form of celebration Dáša Fialová, who is in charge of it.

Riesling Rudimentum is the reaction of our winemaker Olda Drápal to experiment with maximally naturally made wines. This wine matured for almost two years in a barrel and with nearly no added sulfur. It is not filtered, so the result has the taste of caramel, nuts, and dried fruit and amber color.

However, you don't just have to drink Rudimentum in combination with a duck. Another option will be a smoked tenderloin with Waldorf salad together with a blend Sémillon/Sauvignon or asparagus cream with our Sauvignon. Matyho chálka will also bring us mini burgers, their famous pâtés, and rillets, panna cotta, cakes, as well as coffee. We will add a bit of live music and our famous view on Pálava hills.
