f you should ever drink excellent Moravian wines, then it is just these days. Such a message was sent to the world by the Břeclav family printing house Etiflex, which came in this coronavirus period with the campaign named #tosivypijeme. Through the web site, video, or sharing on social networks, it encourages wine lovers to give preference to Czech domestic products over foreign ones at a time when restaurants and mass events are not allowed. Sonberk also became part of the campaign.
You can see it in the video, which is probably the most visible part of the campaign. Personalities of the Moravian wine business explain what it takes to create one bottle of wine. What they put into it, and what they give to the consumer. One of the personalities is our winemaker Olda Drápal.
"When we got the question from people from the printing house, if we wanted to join the campaign, it was clear that we want. Of course, the current situation also affected us. Just in the spring, we wanted to organize a lot of events that will not happen now. But it's not just about us. The crisis also applies to our favourite restaurants or merchants, and therefore all those who love wine. We are all in this together, that´s why we are performing together now," describes our marketing and sales director Dáša Fialová.
Those who know other domestic winemakers or Sonberk will probably find their way to them. But the project site also thinks of those who have so far preferred foreign ones. The website, therefore, has a map of domestic producers or wine shops so that you can choose. The user will also find here "special boxes" or other sales events, with which winemakers are now trying to present the best they can offer. It is worth to try. It is precise thanks to one of the sentences that you can hear in the video - the support of Moravian winemakers is the most pleasant activity because it is done by drinking wine.
